Lead, Inspire, and Drive Success Concrete Plant Manager – Moonah, Tasmania Heidelberg Materials Australia We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to join our Hobart operations team as Concrete Plant Manager – Hobart. Reporting to the Area Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role combining operational management, financial accountability, and team development. As Plant Manager, you will oversee three strategically located concrete plants servicing the Hobart market. Leading a team of up to 20 people, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our concrete operations while contributing to the broader growth and performance of Heidelberg Materials across Tasmania. Key Responsibilities As Concrete Plant Manager, you will: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence. Take full ownership of day-to-day plant operations, including safety, production, sales, and customer service.


Drive financial performance through effective cost control, budgeting, and P&L management. Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness to meet and exceed expectations. Actively pursue new business opportunities and work collaboratively with the Sales Manager to achieve growth targets. Monitor market activity and regional trends to provide insights and maintain a competitive edge. Champion a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement and compliance with all safety and environmental standards. Promote a collaborative and positive team environment focused on accountability, development, and success. About You This role is ideal for an energetic and experienced leader who: Has a proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams, with a strong commitment to coaching and growth. Builds trusted relationships with customers, peers, and stakeholders through clear communication and a focus on solutions.


Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and achieving operational excellence. Possesses strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting (desirable).
