Pioneer North Queensland, which has its headquarters in Cairns, operates three quarries in Edmonton, Innisfail and the Tablelands; two sand quarries in Caravonica, and Mareeba; one concrete plant in Cairns; an asphalt production plant and asphalt contracting; a spray seal division and a transport division. The Role Sampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards on construction sites.


Collecting concrete test samples (concrete in moulds, approx. 5kg) from construction sites - typically from 3 - 5 sites @ day Working safely and accurately Reporting to Laboratory Supervisor The Requirements: Queensland driver's licence (manual or automatic) Good verbal and written communication skills Be physically fit (Able to carry 15 litres of concrete for each test.
